The water when I was a child (local water) naturally contained flourides -
it wasn't added.  Same was true when my father was young.  I'd guess my well
water also contains natural flourides.  Along with a lot of minerals, etc.
The water here is very hard and leaves deposits on everything.  Can't make
ice cubes as they're full of mineral deposits.
