Andy,
If you rely on the government to give us our dietary guidelines, I pity you and
your family. Mineral depletion was proven back in 1930's (You can look that
up) and unless you eat over 5-6 pounds of high quality fresh fruits, veggies,
nuts and protein daily-your not getting even RDA standards.
Look at the back of a bag of animal food-there are more vitamins and minerals
than there are in human food. My brother is a vet and doesn't get into any of
this 'heath' stuff and has even told me they put those in there so the animals
DON'T get sick.
I'm not trying to be rude and this has nothing to do with CS but you should
seriously do some research and be a little more open minded- just for the sake
of your own health.
PS I'm not selling a darn thing!

  Subject: CS>OT-Re: Body Balance, SeaSilver

  I wonder what the analysis would show from of a spoon full of dirt from your
back yard or from some ocean water? These supplements are a rip off. If you eat
right, you don't need any of this crap. If you don't eat right, you still don't
need any of this crap. If you sell this crap, you're in a pyramid scheme and
you are making a buck or two by burning your family and friends. To promote it
without making a buck seems really dumb. To rip off your family and friends
seems even dumber.

  Anyhow, since dietary supplements are off topic - Flame me on the OT list.

  <Flame suit on>

  I had a look at body balance but didn't find an analysis;

  Here's the analysis for Kona Gold from Integris
  http://integriscorp.com/corporate/products/product_kona_gold.asp

  I expect the other sea floor minerals will be similar. This is also a
  natural product, from decayed phytoplankton, similar enough to the humic
  shale from Rockland mines, but notably absent are lead, mercury, cadmium,
  arsenic...
