We tried the medication anti-fungal) the Vet gave us with minimal
rersults. I think the active ingredient was the same as Tinactin or
Aftate so we switched to generic stuff for the outside and ran thru 2
doses of oral anti fungal ($$$$). It was a week after the oral stuff
ran out that I made my first few batchs of CS in a quart mason jar.
We bathed him (and his two buddies) every second or third day. 50/50
with tap water and 20 ppm CS for their inside drinking water and used a
spray bottle for the CS at least 3 or 4 times a day right on the yucky
spots and in his ears and in the rolls of fat and on his face and just
everywhere and seen a marked improvement by the end of the first week.
By the end of the third week it was all gone! Keep it wet on the area
to be treated for at least 5 minutes or longer. Good Stuff!! You cant
use too much!!!
