I successfully used mayonaisse to kill head lice on my two daughters. We
were on an island in the south pacific, no drug stores available. I
remebered reading about this treatment, found a jar of mayonaisse and it
worked. The mayonaisse is supposed to smother the lice. We kept it on for an
entire day wrapped up tightly. The local people use kerosine and or shave
your head. This definitly was not an option.

I know there are hours and hours of combing ahead of us. <sigh> At least
she is good and tolerant about brushing. Yes, I'm counting my
blessings..........~:-}
