Use hot castor oil packs over the abdomen. This will soften the scar tissue
and allow it to be absorbed by the body over time. I had one acquaintance to
whom I recommended this as he said he needed surgery every year for abdominal
adhesions. When I asked him how he was doing about 2 years later he informed
me he hadn't needed surgery because he had been doing hot castor oil packs on
his abdomen. (That's because I told you to do it dude! How soon they
forget!... ;-))

Fold two or 3 thicknesses of flannel cloth large enough to cover the abdomen.
Saturate it with castor oil. Warm the pack. Place it over the abdomen while
lying down and put plastic over it. Put a heating pad over all and remain for
about an hour. I would do it 3 days and then nothing for the rest of the week.
Then repeat the same each week. It will probably take a few months. Then do
some maintenance packs.

This is a messy process. Protect your bed or whatever with old towels or an
old sheet and put plastic over it. Put an old towel over the plastic to lie on
to keep you from sticking to the plastic and to absorb any castor oil which
will run around to your back. Put the pack on your abdomen. Cover with
plastic sheet. Cover with an electric heating pad. Bake for one hour for three
consecutive days each week. You can save the pack and reuse it for many times.
I'm not sure how many exactly. Then you would have to get new cloth and
saturate with new oil. In the meantime, just add oil as needed to the pack.
Probably last a month in the fridge the way you would be using it.

I would supplement internally with whatever will help, maybe others can advise.
I would take plenty or vitamins E, A and C and multivitamins. In your case
you may want liquid vitamins or supplements. I would investigate taking aloe
vera or perhaps noni juice to repair the internal damage...

Sounds like you've had this for 10 to 20 years. You're not going to get over
it in a weekend by popping a pill, but if it was me I would absolutely be doing
the hot castor oil packs for 2 to 6 months.

Castor oil packs were popularized by Edgar Cayce. Castor oil can be bought at
Baar Products on-line or by catalog. Somewhere around $10 per pint. I'm sure
there are other sources too. Drug stores will sell small quantities for
internal use for a lot of money. Don't shop there...

Good luck,

Dan

CS>CS and DMSO; OT: need Scars/Adhesions help

Hi everyone,

I'd like to get some DMSO but have no idea where to look for it. I'm a city
slicker and don't know of any farm supply stores near where I live, which is
in Montreal. Can anyone suggest where I might buy this stuff?

OT: Also, hoping this isn't the wrong place to ask... I have extensive
abdominal scarring, internal and external, from high dose radiation and from
surgery. I have internal adhesions which has resulted in my not being able
to eat a healthy diet anymore... long gone are the days that I can eat
salads, lightly cooked veggies, whole grains, etc. Foods like these cause
my small intestine to torque and block. It's an awful thing to go through.
I had the radiation 20 years ago and the surgery 10 years ago, and it's ever
since the surgery that I have trouble with diet and adhesions... even had
two surgeries (one emergency) to remove the adhesions but that just creates
more. Anyhow, I'm wondering if any of you might know of some "alternative"
means of dealing with abdominal adhesions. It would be a god-send to be
able to eat veggies again! Juicing alone just doesn't staisfy.

best regards to all. This is an amazing list.

Elle
