Thanks so much for responding to my query. If you hadn`t, I would have just
thought there was something wrong with the website because I don`t recall
ever having trouble with pdf files. Moments ago I upgraded my Acrobat
Reader and now I can read all the files! Fab!

All of the the pdf files I tried downloaded quite rapidly. The whole
Hulda Clarke book downloaded in a very short time. No problems for
me. . . .
