Dear Harold, I'm very pleased to hear that you've found a way that cured your sinusitus and that of your wife.
I recognize my own situation in yours. I'm still suffering from a chronic nose-cold that now and then evolves into a sinusitus that causes big headaches in my sinus area. --- In short, my situation: Since I was a child, each spring and autumn I was sure to have a cold that started in the nose and ended in the lungs. Each time treated with antibiotics (the first thing that doctors give out here in Belgium, I believe they think it's candy). If that doesn't do it, you get a treatment with cortisones. At the age of 21, I got it bad and after 2 series of antibiotics, and 1 stronger antibiotic (all in about 1 month time) they wanted to start me with cortisones. I was already so sick because of the antibiotics (stomach problems), so I decided to try a homeopath that was also a medical doctor. For about 5 years I did not have a real bad sinusitus but during that 5 years I was having a minor nose-cold the whole year through. I was almost accepting the fact that I regularly scratched my throath to remove the slimes. Until early this year when I had a bad sinusitus and I really asked to give me the normal, non-alternative treatment. That helped. I went again to a specialist because I really wanted to make and end to this continous nose-cold. He told me I just needed to take the cortisones when I get a sinusitus. After explicitly saying that cortisones are unhealthy, he said it wasn't harmful according to him if I only needed it once or twice for a short period each year. "When you fall and have your knee open, the body generates even more cortisones by itself" was the answer. Nothing else could be done... I guess you could call this "the Drs would not even talk about it eventually" as in your case. --- How long did it take you to get cured? Where there side effects? Are you totally cured now? What do the :MSM, Xylitol and H2O2 add instead of using the CS solely?
