I don't know, it ought to kill H. Pylori. My husband has GERD and I had him do the protocol suggested by someone here (Brooks Bradley?) and it did not help him. In fact he says swallowing CS gives him a stomach ache........he is having great results using it as mouthwash though. His last check up a few days ago, resulted in a lot of ooohing and aaaaahing by the vet and techs over how clean his mouth is...... Again, if his GERD is caused by yeasts, (if that can be a cause) it might take longer than a short course of it to do any good. But he won't go for it. We all know how people can be......and if it did indeed give him stomach pain I can't say as I blame him.......other people have reported stomach pain from CS, but it only helps me. I imagine the variables in what could cause different responses to CS must be tremendous. paula
