Regarding mycoplasma:
In one account of the end of the first Gulf War, Colin Powell, then
the commanding officer, was so appalled by the carnage on the road out
of Kuwait that he called off US air strikes, though certainly not
before an incredible slaughter had taken place. In another version
I quite recently read, further attacks were actually halted by the use
of some agent by Saddam. I have no idea which story is true, but
given the prevalence of the Gulf War syndrome in the 1990's -- and to
my knowledge not yet reported in the current conflict -- the story
of an agent release sounds quite plausible.
This whole topic has gotten some coverage in the US press, but far from
enough.
Apropos of our list, it would be good to know whether any veterans
have used CS to deal with the problem.

I had a mycoplasma test a year or so ago.
( negative on the few types they tested for, likely a worthless
test )
Can you tell us more about it, the symptoms, the test, and
