It isn't necessarily bad for the fish themselves...it will kill your TANK, however. The beneficial bacteria which help to keep your water clean for the fish will die if exposed to CS, thus poisoning the fish. It's best to treat the fish with CS OUTSIDE the tank in a small container as a dip-method, since the CS is actually harmless to the fish itself. Then return the treated fish to the tank. NEVER put CS in a tank or pond. ________________________________
