I would like to take this opportunity to clarify what, to me, appears a misunderstanding.....of some type. I believe that James was referring to 10%Colloidal Silver strength when he alluded to some of my earlier posts on effectivity....not DMSO. As pertains to topical use of DMSO, we have evaluated its use in MANY different applications for many different challenges and have found that 50% concentration (by volume) to be about as close to a safe, universal strength as one will find.....for generic application. In any case, we have not encountered any untoward insults or challenges presenting from instituted protocols using this strength. However, for rapid onset trauma (e.g. severe ankle sprains in horses and human volunteers) we have found 70% DMSO (by volume) to yield the most favored, rapid response in most cases not involving attendant complications from other insults.
