On the subject of argyria, it's so rare even with wild abuse as to be
nearly a non issue.
You didn't mention amounts or time periods of silver intake in your
assessment of the situation..how much coffee colored CS for how long, with
or without a break?  THEN what other factors contribute?

 There apparently is being a lot of research done on silver in the past few
years.
Two problems:  Industry doesn't publish trade secrets.
Can't patent something that's already being made by everyone who have been
doing their own 'clinical' trials for years.
  They have to come up with 'saleable' items and test them before going to
market...and have been.
