Whatever is safe to store water in is 'safe' to store silver water in. But safe isn't always the most desired.
ABS plastic eventually gives a slight odor to water. It takes weeks and some heat. It's probably not "toxic" and drinking it won't kill you, at least not so you'd notice. Many water jugs and drinking water pipe are made of ABS and PVC.
PVC doesn't seem to leach noticably. Milk jugs are OK short term..like a month?
Even hard pop bottles aren't impervious. It can be hard to get that Coke flavor and smell out of a used pop bottle.
