Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and its clinical
application Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) make use of RF emissions from
spin transitions of hydrogen
nuclei, carbon-13 nuclei and other nuclei with
suitable spins. These RF emissions are often in the
range of 15 to 800 megahertz.
