Hello All:

This is a bit off topic, but I would like to find out other people's
experiences with Extra Virgin Coconut oil. I have been reading a lot
about how great it is for your health
(http://www.mercola.com/forms/virgin_coconut_oil.htm) and so forth, and
decided to try it. I am pretty sure I got the best brand, but when I
tried to eat it "straight" from the spoon it made me very nauseous. I
also find it rather indigestible. My wife reports the same reactions.
I love fresh coconut, although I can't eat too much of it at any one
time because that also gives me a stomach ache. We tried to cook with
the oil, as Mercola recommends, and did not like the flavor it imparted
to the food. So we are back to using extra virgin olive oil.

Have others had this reaction to coconut oil? Is anybody on this list
using it regularly? Did you have any problems getting used to it. I am
not ready to give up on this yet, but probably could use some advice on
how best to use it. Please reply to the off topic list or to
d...@altsystem.com, and thanks in advance.
