I initially got great results from the EIS [CS], then a slow regression. The only difference I can think of is that during the successful time, I was making batch after batch and tasting them them immediately. Later, I was making larger batches that lasted me a week or two. There is definitely something DIFFERENT about very fresh EIS, used before it stabilizes.
Messsing around with H2O2 at different times during the stabilization period has proven that to me beyond a doubt. Since the conductivity is higher at first, more "free" ions 'could' be the difference. I think I'll try iontophorisis soon by wrapping silver wires around the wetted toe and applying a little current.
