Yes, I have experience. CS alone will not keep a pool clear because algae
loves CS. You need to use a copper solution to kill the algae.
The CS will kill all bacteria in the pool, but not the algae. We use a
pricey solar panel unit which floats in the pool, and produces copper
colloid of some sort through the voltaic action.
Works pretty well for the tropics, where everything grows five times faster
than normal.

Subject: CS>CS for Pools?
I've read of using CS instead of chlorine for pools. I have a pretty small
(5,000 gallon) above-ground pool. I'd love nothing more than to use CS,
but in my searching online I can't find anything in the way of the amount
needed. Can anyone enlighten me?
Thanks,
Raine
