One way is to snap 4 or 5 nine volt batteries together and hook them up to
to lengths of copper house wiring as electrodes in distilled water.

When you see black hairy things starting to grow, you'll have CC.

 Why use CC?  Using it topically?
 CS works better on infections..CC on algea.
