The heavy-metal scavenging effect of cilantro was discovered
accidentally by Y. Omura, M.D., and first reported in his journal.
A careful Google search may turn it up for those who have interest.

will do it. However, the highest amount of mercury
removed involves between 10-20 treatments of something
like 3-4 hours hooked up to an IV with the EDTA
solution. There might be better ways but that is the
traditional one.
