Here is what I do - I add 1/4 cup, or less, of TCJ to 6-8 ozs. of club soda along with a teaspoon of either maple syrup and two teaspoons of CERTO (fruit pectin). It tastes great, and immediately stops any arthritis pain that I have. I am also going to try adding it to fresh squeezed lemon juice in 8 ozs. water or club soda, and cayenne pepper, and maple syrup. I can't forget to add that I either chase it with 2 ozs. of CS or take the CS prior to the TCJ.
