He said that people were dying like flies, but it was the will to live that made a difference [a decision]. He said that a young man was near death and he was asked to help him by a friend. As he had nothing, he took goat droppings and presented them to the dying man as medicine. The only thing was, he told the man that he had to promise to strive to keep living since if he couldn't promise this the limited amount of 'medicine' would be given to another person with more chance of surviving.
