My husband is a brittle diabetic. He also has MRSA and Charcot foot and
osteomylitis. He also began drinking CS last week 16 oz a day 10ppm.

My question- How does CS affect blood sugar level? His blood sugar is
currently maintaining itself at 250 and he is not hungry. There could be a
couple
reasons for this.

1. a low grade fever but he does not seem to have one. Nor does he feel sick

2. B3 is being added to his diet in 500 mg increments gradually until we
reach 3.5 grams daily. we are at 1.5 grams the last half gram added this
morning. B3 has an adverse effect on insulin but according to University of
Florida
studied it can kick start the pancreas. it

3. He is being weaned off insulin and the insulin may be dropping too fas.

4. His sugar did a dangerous bounce yesterday hitting 60 and he got scared
and ate 2 small candy bars and a raisin scone (comfort food-he is a Scotsman)
and a 12 oz cup of coco because he was sick of being good.

I am wondering if the low blood sugar was because of the CS

Any ideas?

Nenah I will have to explain to you about the hospital putting a very
expensive RF box on his foot. It worked great until I stupidly said "WOW is
that a
Rife Box?" Never saw it again.
