hey, I have a silver puppy CS generator and I've been experimenting lately with making extra-strong batches of CS using the manual mode then ozonating the solution til clear- what i've had success with lately is between 40-45 ppm. typically the solution is light to dark grey before ozonating. I then filter it twice with a regular coffee filter and it's still dark. I then ozonate this solution using my medical grade ozonator with a pure O2 feed, ozone concentration is 8%. It's an interesting reaction - at first it darkens even more, then some particles fall to the bottom, so I re-filter and then re-ozonate. I do this 2-3 times and I end up with a stable clear solution in the 40-45 ppm range. with my hanna TDS meter, the reading has always been identical to what I measure before any filtering or ozonating.
Does anyone know what's happening here? Could I anticipate very small ionic particles in this stuff? It certainly tastes different than un-ozonated CS. The taste difference is clear. I always start with distilled water between 0-1 ppm on the TDS meter and keep the process clean. any knowledge or info on this subject would be greatly appreciated. thanks, cohry
