Last Tuesday I woke up feeling bad all over and my head hurt and felt 4 times
it's size. I started taking a mouthful or couple droppers of CS every hour or
so along with 3 capsules a day of the East Park olive leaf extract I'd gotten
a few days before. I was feeling much better by noon. The next a.m., I
didn't feel quite 100%, so used CS several times. Felt pretty good a few
hours later. That's twice this winter that I've had something that I'm sure
would normally have turned into my usual 3 week head and then chest cold.
How much olive leaf should one take when feeling unwell?

I've found that CS doesn't prevent or cure urinary tract infection. I know
it was a full blown one; I had test strips I'd bought after my last one 3
years ago. However, I'd had three within a few months twice in my life (I
think the germs don't get killed off totally), and I know they normally result
in urgency, burning and stinging. Normally they're miserable. This time I
waited more than 24 hours before calling the doctor and it felt so mild that
I've continued with a full schedule of running around. I started Bactrim this
afternoon and will probably feel well by a.m. How can antibiotics reach all
these places when CS can't?

I wonder if the fingernail ridges have something to do with the fact that
I'd been eating soybeans for breakfast so often during the past year. Zinc
deficiency? I've been eating better and using coenzymate vitamin B
(sublingual, have to suck a candy at same time as the pill), so maybe I'll see
some improvement in fingernails in a few months. Sure am glad you are all
pointing me to look up things I hadn't heard about.

                                                                        Pat
