I'll answer Susan's query on the list as well as sending a copy
directly to her, in case anyone else has a similar question...

Susan, I'm afraid there isn't a web version of the Silver List right
now. The old web archives went down when the machine it ran on crashed,
and the guy who was providing us with that service has not resurrected
them. I am in the process of slowly preparing a web and e-mail based
forum for us similar to Yahoo groups, but it is still some months off.

In the meantime, the simplest way to handle a straight mailing list
like ours is to teach yahoo to sort your incoming mail so that any
message with a CS> in the Subject line goes to a separate folder.

Log into mail.yahoo.com like you usually do, then click: Options (over
on the right side of the page) and then Filters.

Now click Add.

Under Filter Name type in Silver List.

In the field to the right of Subject: Contains, type CS>

In the Move Message To Folder field, select [New Folder].

Click on Add Filter. A small box will pop up asking you for a name for
the new folder. Type in Silver List and press enter or click OK.

Now you'll be back to the Filters page, where your new sorting rule
should look like:

If... Subject contains "CS>"

Then... Move message to Silver List folder

Then you can click on your Mail tab, or whatever else you want to do
from there. Your new filter will intercept Silver List mail and sort it
for you automatically. The Silver List folder will show up in your
folder list right below all your standard folders.

You can now read it there any time you like without everything piling
up in your inbox in a messy jumble. Miss a month or two and don't want
to waste storage space on it? Go in and delete everything more than a
few days old.

And I promise I will get our new archives and/or forum up as soon as I
am able to. <grin>

Thank you. Please let me know if you need anything further.

Be well,

Mike Devour
