Also carbonic acid is not as bad as it sounds. Carbonic acid is always present in the veins and you can vary the concentration by how much you breathe. This compound is how your body stores CO2 in the blood until it gets to the lungs where it is expelled as a gas. While ingesting it may not be benign it is nothing the body can't deal with.
