Saw this question:
About how long will these Maple Leaf coins last?<<
I can't tell about the Maple Leaf coins, but what I know is that I have
worked with simple 12,5 centimeter long silver wires and a glass, pure water
and three batteries, connected with crocodile-beak-wires. Leaf reacting for
half an hour, and my result is of very good quality.
The silver wires are 2 millimeter in diameter, and I change the + pole and
the - pole after every use, so to waste the wires evenly.
They last a LOT! (the 0.8 mm wire -my first- did not last so long)
Hope to serve in some way,
Faith St Francis
