Hi, Mike,  I have tried again to find how to turn off html.  Tools on HotMail does not give a title like Rich-Text Editor, on or off, Under Tools I get Mail and News, Pop-up blocker, Manage Addons, Synchonize, Windows update, Windows Messenger, San java console, Internet Options.  When I access any of these, either I can't use it because I am not an administrator, or the system does not allow its use. Like the system does not support _javascript_ which this application uses.  I don't seem to find any help under "Help".  Thanks , Ruth
