The US National Centre for Complementary And Alternative Medicine
makes the following statement on their website...
http://nccam.nih.gov/health/alerts/silver/
"Other side effects from using colloidal silver products may include
neurologic problems (such as seizures), kidney damage, stomach
distress, headaches, fatigue, and skin irritation"
The implication is that human experience or trials have provided some
credible info, but they provide no references for this statement. I
have also seen the statement repeated and misquoted on other sites
('may' becomes 'can') so its become quite a potent weapon around the
world for the anti-cs brigade. I wonder if any US silverlist members
have ever queried this statement with the NCCAM and asked them to
provide some references. My suspicion is you'll be referred to some
pretty old and irrelevant tests on animals. (If they have no
references at all, they should of course remove the statement from
their site).
Is anyone prepared to put a query to the NCCAM?

I doubt there's any point in me doing it. I'm not a US resident.
