Here`s how I handle my hay:
I cut a bale open, and put each pat in a plastic bag, then load the bags in
my car.
It is for my guinea pigs! One bale lasts ohh, 3 months or so. I have 20
piggies, with more coming soon.
Piggies are so much cheaper than my Arabian horse was to feed, but gee, it
is really hard to ride the tiny rascals! I have to tie one under each foot.
I don`t go very far for some reason...Hmm.
:o)

PS, I agree with Maynard Krebs: "WORK!!!!" said in a dismayed tone of
voice...

> This is hilarious to me Wayne -- in a good way. I'm *only * 61, and I can
only handle hay bales by dragging them (thank goodness for hay-hooks). I
don't know what our hay bales weigh, but I'm guessing maybe 40 to 50 lbs.
This gal, whoever she is, is my hero!!

supposed to work in the sun with our shirts off!! <vbg> MA ;-)
