CONSTITUTIONAL SUBCOMMISSION FINISHED ITS THREE-DAY WORK IN PODGORICA:
HIGH DEGREE OF ACCORDANCE
Podgorica - During its three-day work, the Subcommission for drafting
the constitutional charter has considered the entire text of the
document and passed 120 amendments.
We have reached complete accordance in the majority of amendments,
whereas the amendments concerning the manner of electing
representatives, the formulation of budget and the hierarchy of the
future state union norm remained contentious - presiding of the
Subcommission Borislav Banovic stated at yesterday's session.
He concluded that the major part of the constitutional charter was
coordinated in a general conception sense.
The draft text of the constitutional charter will be further considered
at constitutional commission session scheduled for tomorrow in Belgrade.
MEETING OF DJUKANOVIC AND McLENNAN
THE PROMOTION OF COOPERATION
Podgorica - Montenegro's President Milo Djukanovic talked in Podgorica
yesterday with Canada's Ambassador to Belgrade Donald McLennan.
Ambassador McLennan congratulated Djukanovic on the victory at
parliamentary elections and said that Canada desired to support both
Montenegro and Serbia in the process of transition.
In order to define the priorities of cooperation, the contacts of the
economic department of the Canadian Embassy and the authorized state
organs in Podgorica will be continued in the coming period.
The Canadian Ambassador also talked with Montenegro's Premier Filip
Vujanovic. They have both expressed mutual satisfactions with the past
successful cooperation.

TRADITIONAL FRIENDSHIP
Podgorica - Montenegro's President Milo Djukanovic talked in Podgorica
yesterday with Bielorussia Ambassador to Belgrade Vladimir Mackjevic.
In an open and constructive conversation, Djukanovic and Mackjevic
exchanged information about the current situation in Montenegro and in
Bielorussia. They both agreed that there were real conditions for the
promotion of economic, cultural and overall bilateral cooperation.
THE IMF DELEGATION IN PODGORICA:
INFLATION REDUCED, EXPORT INCREASED, IMPORT ON STANDSTILL
Podgorica - A delegation of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) headed
by the Chief of the Yugoslavia Mission, Emanuel Zervudakis, visited
Podgorica yesterday.
The IMF representatives expressed their satisfaction with a very notable
progress in the transparency of the fiscal and budget area, as well as
in the reform of the banking sector in the past two years.
It was concluded that the privatization of "Jugopetrol" would encourage
investments in the production development, especially in small and
medium-sized companies and in the social area.

USTAVNA POTKOMISIJA ZAVRSILA TRODNEVNI RAD U PODGORICI:
VISOK STEPEN SAGLASNOSTI
Podgorica - Potkomisija za pisanje ustavne povelje, tokom trodnevnog
rada u vili "Gorica", razmotrila je ukupan tekst ovog dokumenta i dala
na njega 120 amandmana.
Postigli smo potpunu saglasnost oko veceg broja amandmana, dok su ostali
sporni amandmani koji se ticu nacina izbora poslanika,formulacije
budzeta i hijerarfije norme buduce drzavne zajednice - rekao je
predsjedavajuci na jucerasnjoj sjednici Potkomisije Borislav Banovic.
Banovic je zakljucio da je veci dio ustavne povelje usaglasen u opstem
koncepcijskom smislu.
Tekst predloga Ustavne povelje razmatrace ustavna komisija na
sjutrasnjoj sjednici u Beogradu.
SUSRET DJUKANOVIC - MEKLENAN:
UNAPREDJENJE SARADNJE
Podgorica - Crnogorski predsjenik Milo Djukanovic razgovarao je juce u
Podgorici sa ambasadorom Kanade u Beogradu Donaldom Meklenanom.
Meklenan je Djukanovicu cestitao izbornu pobjedu i istakao da Kanada
zeli da podrzi i Crnu Goru i Srbiju u procesu tranzicije.
U cilju definisanja prioriteta saradnje u narednom periodu ce se
nastaviti kontakti ekonomskog odjeljenja kanadske ambasade i nadleznih
drzavnih organa u Podgorici.
Meklenan je razgovarao i sa crnogorskim premijerom Filipom Vujanovicem i
ovom prilikom je konstatovano obostrano zadovoljstvo dosadasnjom
uspjesnom saradnjom.

TRADICIONALNO PRIJATELJSTVO
Podgorica - Crnogorski predsjednik Milo Djukanovic razgovarao je juce
juce u Podgorici sa ambasadorom Bjelorusije u Beogradu Vladimirom
Mackjevicem.
U otvorenom i konstruktivnom razgovoru Djukanovic i Mackjevic su
razmjenili informacije o oktuelnim kretanjima u Crnoj Gori i
Bjelorusiji, uz zajednicku konstataciju da postoje realni uslovi za
jacanje ekonomske, kulturne i ukupne bilaterarne saradnje.
DELEGACIJA MMF-a U PODGORICI:
INFLACIJA SMANJENA, IZVOZ POVECAN, UVOZ STAGNIRA
Podgorica - Delegacija Medjunarodnog monetarnog fonda (MMF) koju je
predvodio sef misije za Jugoslaviju Emanuel Zervudakis, boravila je juce
u Podgorici.
Predstavnici MMF-a pozdravili su vrlo znacajan napredak u u
transparentnosti u fiskalnoj i budzetskoj oblasti, kao i u reformi
bankarskog sektora u protekle dvije godine.
Na sastanku je ocijenjeno da ce privatizacija Jugopetrola omoguciti
ulaganje u razvoj proizvodnje, narocito u malim i srednjim preduzecima i
socijalnom sektoru.

Podgorica - Zimovanje u turistickim centrima Crne Gore ove zime kostace
isto kao i prethodne.
Ministarstvo turizma Crne Gore u saradnji sa Turistickom organizacijom i
opstinskim turistickim centrima priredice raznovrsne kulturne i
turisticko sportske programe u okviru manifestacije "Vrela zima u
brdima".
