Hi all,

Flexus 2.0.0 has been released, and is available on the SimFlex web page.
  http://www.ece.cmu.edu/~simflex/

This release adds our distributed shared memory system model. Furthermore,
it includes the new TraceFlex and TraceCMPFlex simulators which are
high-speed non-timing simulators, ~150x faster than out-of-order
simulation.

Please report any difficulties with the new release to this mailing list.

Here are the notes from the version history:

Flexus 2.0.0 11/9/2005
  Release Manager: Tom Wenisch
  - Add the no-timing simulators TraceFlex and TraceCMPFlex for checkpoint
creation and rapid cache studies. 150x faster than OoO!
  - Add DSMFlex and distributed shared memory components to public release
  - Enhanced debug support. You can now filter debug messages based on
category and source component from the Simics console. See the help
    text for flexus.debug-* in Simics.
  - Enhancements to stat-manager for sampling. We now have stat-collapse
and stat-sample tools that combine measurement regions within a stats
file, and produce aggregate statistics/confidence intervals across
    stats files for sampled simulations.
  - Bug fixes to InorderSimicsFeeder for x86 simulation

Best Regards,

Subject: [Simflex] [help~~~~]does anyone has simics 2.2.12?

Hi,
Does any one has the simics 2.2.12? I just found that simics 2.0.18 seems
to be much slower than 2.2.12. And I cannot find simics 2.2.12 from the
simics website :(.
   Can anyone help me?
Thanks very much
Shan
