Hi, I successfully build a license server which can support most simics simulating except signing Flexus model. But my academic license file has features of p_modelbuilder and builder, which support signing model according to the simics install mannure. When signing a new model of Flexus into simics, I find the license server responds: UNSUPPORTED: 'devel_builder'...... (license server does not support this feature). and the simics simulator says: License error, Simics Model Builder License needed to sign model.
My simics license is applied recently, the simics edition is 3.0.31. A simics guy said this must be an error of Flexus. Now I don't know why the problem happened. Please help me. Thank you very much. From the message Simics (and the license server) reports, this certainly sounds like a Simics license issue. It sounds like you are missing a license module called "devel_builder". What simulator were you trying to build/load? Can you build and load one of the stock Simics modules, such as g_cache (see Simics documentation for info)? If not, contact Virtutech for help. If so, please let us know so we can try and figure out what feature Flexus is using that is different.
