If the console.out file is overwritten for each flexpoint, then it is not
surprising there is nothing in the file (because your last flexpoint seems
to be running nothing interesting).

To proceed, I recommend starting the process over, and keeping all of the
console logs.  After the machine boots, you will definitely see the
command prompt in the console window.  You should then see the command
line that starts the test application.  Once the application completes,
you should see the command prompt again.

I suspect somewhere in that process, the problem will be obvious, for
example, "directory does not exist" or "file is not executable" errors.

You can also look for "-no-win" options in the scripts (and turn them off)
if you want to see the simics console window directly.
