I would be interested in all your simulators. ;) ----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard Cornwell" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Friday, January 29, 2016 11:55:17 AM Subject: [Simh] Burroughs B5500 simulator.
Hello All, I have just finished off a simulator for the Burroughs B5500 system. It currently supports 1 or 2 CPU's, up to 20 disk units, or 10 with DFX support, Drums, 1 or 2 Card readers, 1 Punch, 1 or 2 Line printers, and up to 8 terminal lines (more can be added). The simulator runs either MCP XIII or MCP XV (including CANDE). I have not tested it with the latest version of the simH from the Git hub. However it should work just fine. I will give it a test with the latest version over the next couple of weeks. The simulator also includes the start of a generic Card reader/punch modules. Feedback on this would be helpful, perhaps it can be integrated into the main distribution. Once I finish off support for handling EBCDIC cards. While I am fixing bugs that are reported I will see if I can finish off my KA10/KI10 simulator. If anyone is interested in helping me write a Dectape controller for the 10, please contact me. If there is interest I can put the simulator on the github to make it part of the main distribution.
