Hello Whomever , I am looking for a list (if necessary) for the proper
host that sends & receives emails for the simh (and any other lists) .
I have harvested 71.191.185.32 from the headers of the emails I have
received .
Now this gives me doing a dig (ie: in-addr.arpa. lookup) ...
jiml@bigscrn-vm:~$ dig -x 71.191.185.32 +short
static-71-191-185-32.washdc.fios.verizon.net.
And as you can see the Inverse & Forward do not match .
I also find ... from the headers ...
jiml@bigscrn-vm:~$ dig mini-me.trailing-edge.com +short
71.191.185.32
Which leads me to believe that my harvesting is correct .
Please someone in the know correct my doubts .
I am in the process of creating a iptables accept/reject list
the assurance would help a bunch .
