Hi TB, Are you using the current software (either 2.2.0 or the trunk version)?
That software puts up the loading screen when Timeline is starting and takes it down after your callback function returns. See timeline.js lines 361 and 365 (for loadingXML) Regards, Larry ________________________________ From: TBEU <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: SIMILE Widgets <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, November 14, 2008 3:13:11 AM Subject: How to get a "loading" splash screen? Hello, when loading the examples (from a local source copy from /src/webapp) I can see a "loading" splash screen showing up during the event data are loaded. When creating my own timeline based on the same source copy (/src/ webapp/api) I don't see anything. It would be quite useful to me, since loading the data needs some time in my application. Do you have any idea how to get such a "splash screen" or why I don't get it in my case? Thanks a lot!
