Fancois, I'm impressed with your Exhibit. Almost 7,000 items and it seems to work ok in my browser, Safari 3.
Just an FYI, the trunk version of Exhibit has initializing facet values based on URL params built in. Not sure when the next release is planned, but it may conflict with your code when its rolled.
