I'm new to Exhibit, but by following the getting started, I was able to create functional and very cool applications. However, I must be missing something because I can't figure out how to add hyperlinks or the html code of embedded FLV files into the exhibits.
For example, for an item, I want to have a field called "Resources" that shows the name of the resource as a hyperlink to a URL by using simple HTML like this: <a href="http://homestarrunner.com";>HomeStar Runner</a>. When I add this code to the json data file for the item's field, the babel inspector tells me it's not going to work, and opening the application in a browser just brings back nothing, The whole thing errors out. the same kind of thing happens when I try to include the more complex HTML code for embedding a flv file. I'm sure what I want to do is possible, I just can't figure it out.
