I am looking for help with a relatively simple customization project on the timeline. I am not very experienced with JS, but do know my XML and HTML pretty sufficiently. I recently completed a historical survey of some laws here at the library I work at and wanted to create an interactive timeline to better communicate the changes made over a period of decades. I pretty much have my timeline set up in terms of outlining my dates, but wanted to tweak some aspects of it. For instance:
1. My timeline, which I believe is using default setting [I have defined by event bar colors in my XML however] is placing my text below the event bar at a rather large font size. In addition, my event duration bars are very thin. To illustrate the point, here is a screen shot: http://imgur.com/WbLKc.png 2. What I would like to know is: How can I define the font face/size of the title text that is linked to the event duration bar in the timeline? How can I place this title text inside the event duration bar rather than underneath it? How can I adjust the height of the event duration bar so that it does not appear so thin? If you want to see what I am hoping to achieve, here is a screenshot from a fellow library’s timeline project that has it set up the way I would like to get it done [I have tried copying code from their XML and HTML file, with no luck in locating what I need]: http://imgur.com/V4ISw.png Any and all help would be much appreciated.
