I have been working to make a display where I can show trends in
company-related variables, along with a timeline of when significant
occur in the industry. Basically, point out a trend in the timeplot in
relation to an event on a timeline.
Since implementing a Timeplot into an existing Exhibit with timeline
in it, merges the legends... i decided to use 2 exhibits using html
frames to display both at once. (a messy workaround, open to
suggestion)

At present the display looks like this: http://tinyurl.com/y23n4ew

I'm pretty happy with the timeline, but need to tweak my
implementation of the timeplot

Is there any way I can modify the labels on the X axis? i realize its
meant to automatically fit the data displayed(?) but showing only 1
year in a span of 2 decades is not enough for that scale.

Also, is it possible to condense the mouse-over boxes in the timeplot,
so that perhaps only 1 box is displayed and all of the data (with
labels) are shown in the same box? (if not through hover, if the data
can be displayed to the right of the timeplot, and disable existing
box)

Not that I ever expect to display many(more than 4) lines at a time..
but because even with 4 lines, its difficult to tell what the numbers
represent, without some label to them.
