Hi guys, second attempt to post a question in this group (first one did not
came through or something..).

So alright, I have a large data file that I would like to show on a Simile
timeline. To be able to put as much data on a small space, I wanted to put
the event-labels on the tapes. I managed to customize the css and some
javascripts, but of course the software still thinks that the labels are on
their own piece of track. So no matter how small I make my
timeline.event.track.gap / timeline.event.track.height, I am unable to
collapse the space between two events.

I already know of the hotzone functionality, but I cannot use it, since a
lot of events start on the same date. So my question is: How can I properly
put the labels on the tape so the height of the whole timeline collapses?

Another question is about the PointHighlightDecorator. I am unable to get a
simple PointHighlightDecorator to work to highlight the present time or
day. I don't get any error, so I was wondering if there are any special
things I should pay extra attention to?

The last question is about the autoWidth feature of the timeline. Is it
possible to have the timeline adjust its height according to the amount of
events that are being shown (in combination with filters..)? I know of the
autoWidth attribute, but it's not working for me, does anyone have a
working example for me?

If anyone has questions regarding to mine, please feel free to ask them. I
have jotted them down quite quickly since I was under the impression that
my old post came though..

Regards, Remy
