[Simile-Widgets] Image Facet ex:image attribute broken?

At the moment when trying to populate the image facet with corresponding 
images through the ex:image attribute no output is occuring. A workaround 
means posting the image path directly into ex:expression, which in turn 
causes the tooltip to also show this url, which is not very useful in many 
cases.

I would be very happy if anybody could provide hints for solving this 
issue. The underlying issue may be that the field used for linking the 
images "field_projectlogo_fid_1" also contains multiple values.
