I am trying to do a very simple thing, but cannot figure it out and hoped somebody could help. I've created a very simple Exhibit with a timeline, following the instructions in the Exhibit 3.0 documentation ( http://www.simile-widgets.org/exhibit3/Exhibit3-Doc.pdf), but I don't know how to programmatically access the timeline after the Google spreadsheet loads, so that I can center a band on the current date. For some reason, my timeline wants to center on February 26, 2014, and I need it centered on today's date. I suspect I can center it using setCenterVisibleDate ( https://code.google.com/p/simile-widgets/wiki/Timeline_Moving_the_Timeline_via_Javascript), but I don't know how to access the band (or anything else in the Exhibit for that matter) in Javascript. Once I can get at that, I think I can figure out the rest, but for the life of me, after searching through the documentation, I couldn't figure it out. Please help!
