I am trying to make use of a context to link a past event to a current event, and then use the content to fire off another rule set and I am puzzled as to how to assign the value in the context to a %variable . I am not used to the report() action, and I really don't want to resort to mining the SEC internals for %main::context_list. May I have some correction or guidance as to how to proceed?

I believe I have a "never mind" situation. I see that I the actions 'copy' and 'empty' are what I need to do the asssignment of the value of the context store to the %variable.

/copy <name> %<var>/
Strings s1,...,sn from the event store of the context <name> are
   joined into a multi-line string "s1<NEWLINE>...<NEWLINE>sn", and
this string is assigned to the action list variable %<var>. If the
context <name> does not exist, the value of %<var> does not change.
/empty <name> [%<var>]/
Similar to the/copy/action, except that the event store of the
context <name> will be emptied after the assignment. If %<var> is
omitted, the content of the event store is dropped without an
   assignment.
