Every time I look at this post I think: I should take the time to thank you for
all your work. Well this time I did. :-)
I really do appreciate the effort you put in for a very useful tool.

hi all,
it appears that yesterday SourceForge portal was experiencing some availability issues, and therefore the 2.7.7
version was not available for download during several hours. If anyone was having difficulties with accessing the new
version, try downloading it again -- hopefully we will not see any further issues today.
kind regards,

hi all,
sec-2.7.7 has been released which incorporates the following changes since
the 2.7.6 version:
* added support for the 'writen', 'closef', 'closeudgr', 'closeustr',
'closeudp' and 'closetcp' actions -- these
actions allow for closing open files and sockets.
* starting from this version, the default value for the --bufsize command
line option is 0 (detect appropriate
input buffer size automatically).
* starting from this version, the default value for
--jointbuf/--nojointbuf command line options is --nojointbuf.
In addition, the new version includes some performance improvements over
the 2.7.6 version -- thanks to Brian
Mielke for suggesting them!
The new version can be dowloaded from:

kind regards,
risto
