Do you really consider this as a "simple" and easy solution? And it means, the user needs to think twice whether to to an exceptional crop or not because default setting then lost. And how to set an initial A4 page size crop efficiently and easy? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Simple Scan Development Team, which is the registrant for Simple Scan. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/550856 Title: Use page size in settings as default crop Status in Simple Scan: Triaged Bug description: This is my very first bug report. I hope it's useful. ;-) There should be no manual cropping after scanning multiple pages with ADF. Simple-Scan knows the default page size from the settings menu. Probably the only additional information needed is the alignment of the page related to the whole scan area. Perhaps printing and scanning a predefined testpage could automate the alignment process.
