DIALOGUE ON AWAKENING CHAPTER 10
Separation verses Wholeness (Part B) How does choice become experienced within this flow of non-resistance? Do we still make choices? The _expression_ of peace and love, which is the _expression_ of Creation, has as many possibilities as does the _expression_ of an illusion. Your choices when you are in a Realized frame of mind constitute the movement of Creation. But the movement is seen differently as your knowing of Creation is expressed in its true and natural form. As choices are now made to express chaos and conflict, choices are then made to express peace and love. That is the movement of Creation. That is your allowing yourself to move within the framework that expresses God. You will recognize your Being as the _expression_ of God, and you will recognize what you now call choices as being the _expression_ of Creation, that which is called the Will of God. You will recognize that this is also your will as you see yourself being the vehicle for the _expression_ of God. God exists. He Is. He is the basis for all Creation. But His Creation cannot be expressed until you allow its _expression_ to take place through your Self as the vehicle which God Himself put in place to illustrate its movement. That vehicle is You! You are the movement of Creation. And when your choices are made, understanding only this, you will see Creation through the eyes of God, because you will recognize your Self as being those eyes. See it like this: if all of Creation, everything which was the Creation of God, could be represented by your car, what would the purpose for the car be without its driver, without its mover? And that is you! Please do not have the illusion that this car does not move unless it is moved by you as you see yourself in this limited state which you now consider yourself being in. Creation has not been static; it has not had a lack of movement simply because you have not seen yourself as being in the driver's seat. You have always been the movement of Creation, but you do not recognize that this is what you have been truly doing. Your function and your purpose have not changed. What you have been doing as the _expression_ of the Creation of God has not stopped, it has not changed. You have simply misperceived yourself as being disconnected from it. The flow of Creation already Is. The appropriate thing to do is to allow yourself to simply be aware of its movement. I have also said that you, being the wholly unified and infinite Son of God, are the only movement of Creation. And the two are the same. When you do not see them as being the same, you are seeing an illusion of your Self. You are seeing an aspect of yourself that is removed from truth. So as you allow yourself to become a conductor or conduit of the flow of Creation, as you stop resisting this knowing that is building within you, as you experience the natural flow of your Self, you will remember your Self. It will be in the act of doing that which is so natural for you that your memory will return. Being in a state of total non-resistance is helpful, even if it is in nonresistance to your dreaming, because it will be this feeling of it that will help you to recognize your natural feelings. It will be in your acquiescing to all things, including the dreaming, that you will allow yourself to give up the dreaming. Please remember what we have said: the importance lies not in what you are doing, but in why you are doing it. So as you feel yourself being non-resistant, you will recognize that the reason you are doing it is because it is reflective of who you are. It is reflective of your being nonresistant to being the flow of God, to being the unrestricted _expression_ of Creation... of seeing yourself as bringing God into actualization. There is no meaning to God unless He is expressed. You are that now. It is happening now. And in allowing yourself to be unresistive to all feelings, you will be unresistive to this one as well. That is what I mean when I say, feel yourself being in the flow and recognize that the flow is who you are. This then, also answers your question of what is your purpose. Your purpose is simply to recognize that which you already are, which is the _expression_ of God. The inner light can answer any of this world's queries and resolve any of its problems. Beyond all of these concerns, the inner light will show you who you are and your relationship to all...and bring you an understanding of love and peace that transcends ordinary human thought processes.
