"Enter His gates with
thanksgiving
and His courts with
Praise" Psalms
I was reveling in these lines from Psalms
yesterday and pondered how I could express
just a little of how they
open up the idea that
the real "I" have never left
the Courts of Praise
and that the Gates of
Thanksgiving are never
closed.
Even while it seems I live in a three dimensional
world and go in and out the gates -- the veil is
lifting. The
words of altarlight facilitated the
idea that I no longer need deny
who I am and
for that I am very grateful. How freeing it
is
to not deny my
Heritage.
Some words on gratefulness by Eileen
Caddy,
a co-founder of the Findhorn Garden were

think
she would mind that I have taken the liberty
below of putting some of her words in the first
person:
I start each day by giving thanks. Gratitude reveals the joy and laughter in my life and the lives of all those around me. I see the silver lining behind every seeming dark
cloud.
Darkness disappears revealing glorious light. I am mightily blessed! Blessings pour down upon me all the time. It does not matter how negative or ungrateful I might have been yesterday; what really matters is what my attitude is now. I leave the past behind; and move on to really enjoy life to the full giving constant thanks for everything. I am grateful and appreciate all things in life. Love flows freely in and through me. There is good in every situation. I have love in my heart. I not blind to the best in my situation and to the good in those around me in this wonderful life which is mine.
How mightily blessed I am; I recognize it and give thanks for it. I give whatever I have to give; every soul has something to give. Ragna
