Ultimately, that process is atonement or healing. It is only required because we insist it is required. Nevertheless, it seems that no matter what we do or don't do, no matter what choices we make, this illusory world hangs in there, requiring us to wait through whatever it brings. Yes, we must...and yet, simultaneously, we can look beyond it. Looking beyond these seemingly never-ending processes opens the mind. So, we find that we're not really waiting upon "process and release"...but are instead waiting upon our own restored willingness to look beyond illusion to our true self. And we can restore that at any moment, completely regardless of process or release.

Thank you, altarlight.  You again, like all sages; remind us to keep our
eyes on the prize and that a temporary "experience" of happiness isn't It;
but is just the flip side of the coin of suffering.  The very root meaning of
word happiness is that it depends on something happening -- whereas
joy is inherent on who we are; not on what seemingly happens.

However, can it be true that the forgiven world of the happy dream is
more than just an "experience", but is the bridge, a launching pad so to
speak, on which we are ready to accept our reality; the lily pad floating
on a peaceful mind if you will, on which we are poised to make the leap
of our willingness to look beyond illusion to our true self?  You invite
me to the bridge to look beyond the dream.  Who will join me there?

With love,

Ragna
